With plenty of experience in the electrical industry, our team at Cooper Weston have, in recent years, been broadening horizons and working on industrial and commercial projects in the buzzing city of London. Recently, we were tasked with the complete electrical works at an exciting renovation right in the heart of the capital; 14 Garrick Street in Covent Garden.
Nestled in the centre of Covent Garden, this stunning period building has undergone extensive renovation in recent months and Cooper Weston were privileged enough to be asked to provide full electrical support for the whole project having worked with Stoica Offices, head contracters, on a number jobs in the past.
Whilst exciting, the project hasn’t been without its challenges, particularly given the building’s Grade-II listed status. Previously a stunning church, converting the property into workable office space was, at times, taxing. But thanks to Cooper Weston’s team of highly qualified and diligent professionals, the job was completed on time and within budget.
“We have now worked with Cooper Weston on a number of office fit out and refurbishment projects and are reassured to have them as one of our specialist suppliers” said Ben Ingamells, Head Contractor at Stoica Offices. “Cooper Weston have worked above and beyond to assist in delivering the project on time and within budget and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results.”
Having worked in the domestic world for a number of years, moving into the commercial market felt like a natural progression for Cooper Weston, particularly as the company and reputation grew. We’ve also worked on fantastic projects for the likes of Battersea Cats and Dogs Home and various educational establishments in London including Francis King private school.
Here are some stunning photos of the church space’s transformation itself. Click on each image to enlarge:
